Hallo zusammen,
wir haben das Problem, dass bei einer Updateinstallation der vmware Tools, z.B. fest eingestellte Netzwerkeinstellungen der Virtuellen Maschine verloren gehen.
Zurückführen konnte ich das darauf, dass bei einer Updateinstallation das vorherige vmware Tools Paket erst deinstalliert wird (was auch alle Netzwerkkartentreiber und damit auch alle Netzwerkkarten und gesetzten Einstellungen der VM selbst) entfernt, bevor das neue Paket installiert wird.
Wird aber der Installer (in diesem Fall ein MSI) manuell ohne paketscripte installiert, wird das bereits installierte Paket aktualisiert und alle einstellungen bleiben erhalten.
Kann das bitte im neo42 Paket angepasst werden, sodass die vorherige deinstallation nicht ausgeführt wird?
